Background
DNA Biotech Company (DBC) is a private biotechnology limited liability company established on 1st December 2020 in Mogadishu, Somalia. DBC seeks to invest in biotechnology and medicine to create important products, technologies and services from local natural Somali as well as international products to save lives and improve quality of life. DBC intends to contribute to the bioeconomy of Somalia which is a method that can help achieve production of value-added products that use local resources and waste to manufacture products efficiently.
DBC also intends to establish and conduct quality clinical and public health services initially in and around Mogadishu city and in the future throughout Somalia. DBC will strive to base its decisions, operations and services on research evidence and maintain
